DESCRIPTION:Recognising Excellence in Engineering & Innovation \n\n\n\nThe Innovative Engineer of the Year Queensland 2025 award recognises exceptionalprofessionals driving engineering advancements\, fostering innovation\, and shaping a brighterfuture. \n\n\n\nDate – 17th July 2025  \n\n\n\nTime – 5.00PM \n\n\n\nEVENT STRUCTURE: \n\n\n\n\nEngineers of the five selected abstracts were invited to present their work on 17/07/2025 at the Engineering Australia Auditorium in Brisbane. Each presentation will be limited to amaximum duration of 10 minutes.\n\n\n\nThe Innovative Engineer of the Year award\, along with the 1 and 2 runners-up awards\, will be determined by a panel of distinguished experts and professionals.\n\n\n\nThe winner will announced and presented with awards at the IESL QLD Chapter Gala Nite 2025 dinner dance by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) Queensland Chapter on 2 August 2025 at Unidus Community and Conference Centre\, 204\, Stradbroke Road\, Willawong\, QLD\, 4110\n\n\n\nKeynote speaker – Andrew Reid – Engineers Australia President QLD Division\n\n\n\n\nAdmission to the event is free and this is considered a CPD claimable event (3 hours) for the IESL and Engineers Australia members.
