The IESL QLD Chapter successfully hosted its 2024 Family Excursion on Sunday, October 13th, 2024. The event brought together families and friends of chapter members for a scenic day in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, strengthening the community spirit within the group. Participants enjoyed a well-organized itinerary, which included a visit to Maleny for breakfast and recreational activities at the Mary Cairncross Nature Reserve, followed by lunch and exploring the arts and crafts village in Montville. The day concluded with visits to scenic lookouts along the Blackall Range, offering breathtaking views and photo opportunities.
This family-oriented event was well-attended and highly appreciated by all participants. The comfortable transport arrangements, inclusive of breakfast and lunch, contributed to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It was evident that the outing succeeded in fostering closer bonds among the members of the IESL QLD Chapter, providing a refreshing break from daily routines while enhancing camaraderie through shared experiences in a picturesque setting.
