The Innovative Engineer of the Year Queensland 2025 award recognises exceptional
professionals driving engineering advancements, fostering innovation, and shaping a brighter
future.

EVENT STRUCTURE:
- Engineers of the five selected abstracts were invited to present their work on 17/07/2025 at the Engineering Australia Auditorium in Brisbane. Each presentation will be limited to amaximum duration of 10 minutes.
- The Innovative Engineer of the Year award, along with the 1 and 2 runners-up awards, will be determined by a panel of distinguished experts and professionals.
- The winner will announced and presented with awards at the IESL QLD Chapter Gala Nite 2025 dinner dance by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) Queensland Chapter on 2 August 2025 at Unidus Community and Conference Centre, 204, Stradbroke Road, Willawong, QLD, 4110
- Keynote speaker – Andrew Reid – Engineers Australia President QLD Division
Admission to the event is free and this is considered a CPD claimable event (3 hours) for the IESL and Engineers Australia members. Delegates should check their individual scheme requirements
