The 14th Continuous Professional Development Activity was conducted as a field to Stapylton Landfill site in Yatala Saturday, 11 June 2022. Dr. Subash Hathurusinghe from Strategy and Innovation – Water Waste and Energy group and Richard Morgan, Executive Coordinator Landfill Management of the City of Gold Coast, organised and coordinated the event with a technical presentation and a field visit.
The seminar gave insight into landfill construction, management and maintenance. 20 people attended the event, received the content well, and ended with a lively Q & A session.
